Before the day gets totally away from me, I want to thank all the people who responded to my humble little fundraising 'call'.... My records show that at least 90% of the people that I contacted did donate to the campaign through one channel or another.
I also know that this story from a dear friend is being repeated over and over today:
I VOTED and have the sticker to prove it. I guess it will get me free cup of jo at Starbucks or a doughnut at Krispy creme.....hmmmmmmm
... My son was able to vote for the first time today and was actually dressed and downstairs ready to go by 5:30 am!! Impressive!!
