As in the primary, there's a back-and-forth developing over who -- gasp! -- went negative first, with the McCain campaign claiming Obama started it.

USAToday makes it pretty clear how thin that is: The first real negative video came from the RNC, and the Obama ad McCain's aides point to was actually a response.
(In the primary, for the long-forgotten record, Obama actually dropped the first negative mail.)
