This Campaign Is Over

For the last week or so we have been witnessing the first stage of Palin 2012.

So of course she has nothing to lose right now:

In an interview with conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin explained her reasoning in going on the attack against Barack Obama. Asked why she was more "forceful" than her running mate, she said: "Rush, I've got nothing to lose in this and I think America's got everything to gain by understanding the differences, the contrasts here between Obama and McCain."

Now some think that she will flame out before that. I see her going into the next convention as the hero of the social conservative cause (poor Mike Huckabee) where she and her cohorts will be reminded that 60% of the country rejected them in '08. Civil war will ensue, Romney will be nominated (old fashioned Republican fiscal discipline ticket) and go down to hideous defeat as every non-Mormon, non-wealthy person in America votes Keep Barry in office for another four years.
